Term Life Insurance

RIAs may access term life insurance coverage for their clients with the help of RetireOne. This coverage provides income replacement at a fixed cost for a prescribed term of years. Benefits are paid to beneficiaries of the decedent and these terms are usually 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 years. Term life insurance is the least expensive way to purchase life insurance coverage over a specific period of time.

Issue ages: 18 – 90 years
Coverage amounts available: $25,000 – $10,000,000
Lengths of term coverage available: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years
Guaranteed, level premium payments for term of coverage
Return of premium option available – your cost will be returned at the end of the coverage period

Purchasing Term Life Insurance through RetireOne

Simply reach out to your RetireOne Regional Director to request a quote and complete a short set of questions. We’ll work with you and your client to arrange a call to complete your application and schedule the necessary requirements. In some cases, a medical exam may also need to be scheduled at your client’s convenience and at no cost to them. Covr Insurance Technologies powers the RetireOne term life platform so that we may offer coverage to clients of RIAs and fee-based advisors. No insurance license is required. Our Regional Directors are expert insurance consultants and carry licenses in all 50 states.

Annuities on the RetireOne platform include low-cost, commission-free products that don't charge surrender penalties. They feature low-cost underlying investment options from fund families like Vanguard and DFA with expense ratios as low as .03%, and average portfolio expenses ranging from 0.63% to 1.02%. M&E fees in these annuities range from 0.20% to .50%, which represents a cost savings relative to traditional products that charge an average 1.32% in M&E fees (source: Morningstar 12/18).

No-load insurance and annuities do not pay the traditionally high commissions for the sale of these products. Other fees and expenses including subaccount fees, M&E charges, administrative fees, optional rider fees, surrender charges, and other insurance-related fees may apply.
